Packrafting on the Elsa River. Guided excursion in Tuscany.

Discover Packrafting on the Elsa River in the Upper Elsa Valley River Park. A guided excursion led by certified Environmental Hiking Guides through nature, adventure, and sustainable tourism.

Technical info

The Packrafting on the Elsa River is a guided excursion that allows you to explore the Upper Elsa Valley River Park in Tuscany aboard a packraft – a lightweight, stable, and easy-to-handle single-person inflatable boat.

This experience is perfect for those who want to enjoy the river in a more dynamic and independent way, immersing themselves in nature while exploring one of Tuscany’s most spectacular river ecosystems. Thanks to the packraft’s low environmental impact and quiet navigation, you can observe the local flora, fauna, and the distinctive limestone formations that make the Elsa River so unique.

The activity is always carried out in groups and is led by Environmental Hiking Guides (GAE) certified by the Tuscany Region. They ensure the excursion is conducted safely, provide technical assistance throughout the route, and share insights into the history, geology, and biodiversity of the Upper Elsa Valley River Park.

Packrafting is a sustainable and engaging way to discover the area, combining adventure, environmental education, and respect for the natural ecosystem.
