Packrafting on the Merse River is an experience designed for those who want to explore an unspoiled corner of Tuscany away from tourist routes. In the area of the lower Val di Merse, between Maremma and the Sienese hills, this itinerary takes you into the midst of a wild and silent nature, where the river flows through forests, hidden bends and breathtaking rapids.
With a packraft-a small personal inflatable raft-you can experience the river on your own, guided by our experienced guides.

Program

Step 1 - Gathering. . .

Meet at the disembarkation point, distribute equipment and drive to the embarkation point

Step 2 - Departure. . .

Initial briefing beginning river descent with acompaniment of guides

Step 3 - During. . .

Lunch break on the river bank and possible bathing (recommended!)

Step 4-Return. . .

Arrival at the disembarkation point and relaxation at the natural hot springs of Petriolo

Is the route suitable for beginners?

Yes, but good independence and water confidence is required. It is recommended to have already participated in at least one basic outing.

Do you provide the packraft?

Yes, we provide packraft, paddle, buoyancy aid, helmet and dungaree wetsuit.

Can I come alone?

This excursion requires a minimum group size of 6 people.

What happens in case of a weather alert or flood?

The activity will be postponed or refunded. We always monitor the river level before departure.
