Motto: explorers for a day!

A route to discover the Elsa river Park  at Colle Val d’Elsa. The Elsa river has its source on the slopes of the Sienese Mountains but the secret of this river is the supply of crystal – clear springwaters at Le Vene and thermal waters at Le Caldane.

The route begins at the foot of the beautiful Diborrato waterfall and then continues running parallel to the Elsa path (Sentierelsa), just a few meters from the latter but completely immersed in another dimension.

A river corridor characterized by a dense vegetation reminding us more of an Amazonian forest rather than a local river. The packraft (small single-seater dinghy) is the perfect way to discover a waterway from the inside.

The participants have to move like a small handful of explorers, ready to overcome the obstacles (limestone tanks of the Elsa), following the instructions of the expedition leader, immersed in an environment more reminiscent of a tropical jungle than a local river!
